Question On Rb26 Engine In Different Models.

Hi, I'm looking at buying a RB26DETT motor to rebuild and replace my SR20DET. I have been looking around, and the prices vary from about 3000 to 5000. Is there any difference between say a RB26 coming out of a R32 to the RB26 coming out of a R33, etc?

Like i said, I'm looking at rebuilding it, so i guess it doesn't matter if the motor is blow, etc. Is there any difference in rebuilding from a 32 to a 33? Any performance lost gain, etc?

I'm asking this as owning a SR20DET, i know that for every model, there are improvements, especially on the S15 models. I'm just very confused with the RB's, and don't want to purchase something that might not provide what i want after.

You want R33 as a minimum. Simple as that
