Checking Gearbox Oil Levels R33gtst

i just bought my car yesterday and even had a mechanic look at it who told me theres no leaks etc.(must need glasses) because there is a small amount of oil sitting under it in my garage. not happy at all. i think it could be from the gearbox and i want to check the level of it. how do i check. is there a dipstick. sorry if this is a really stupid question but i cant see much with a torch and need to drive it tomorrow.
