Ive searched but nthing useful came up.

Ive decided to go gtr bonnet instead of a gtr front bar... I know this converstion invovles a couple of mucking around.

What else is needed if i already have the bonnet, how hard is it and etc..

Oh and what would a good condition GTR bonnet worth. Can i use exsisting hinges and stuffs?

Thanks for the help

Its the bonnet catch assembly. So the lock and the and the (please excuse me, i dont know the correct name for it) but its what th lock ttatches too as wel. Have a look, you'll know what I mean by "L" shaped reo. Its the the thing the horns and lock attatch too.

Yes. Hinges are the same.

GTR bonnets usually for for arround $400 but shop around and you can find cheaper.

The bonnet lock and reo are around $75.. again.. shop arround.

They are very light bonnets. I think I weighed both GTST and GTR and off the top of my head its about 10kg and a heap less understeer

yea i know that L shape thing,

this place i found is selling the bonnet, latch and L thing for like $650. that a good price?

ive looked around and i cant find anything thats close to $400 unless its damaged in some sort.

might consider a FRP or carbonF. one but they seems to be hard to get locally

by fitting a gtr bonnet to a gtst, can we use a gtr air diversion plate on the gtst?

They should fit..

L.B. - You will need

A GTR Bonnet

A GTR Latch with Lock ( i have an extra one for sale if your notable to find 1 )

A GTR Grill ( i have an extra one for sale if your notable to find 1 )

my set up cost me round $850 fitted without paint, but you get a way lighter bonnet.

Hope this help

8kg's I believe, so light I'm afraid mine is going to blow away when it gets windy and I've got the bonnet up :D

P.S. I'm not running a GTR latch..

GTS4WD - Did you actually notice less understear or you just joking round lol....?

Im not running a GTR latch with mine either. GTS latch and hinges and lock. I just unbolted the bottom screw on the lock and pushed it backwards a bit and downwards. Heaps cheaper and easier and looks just as good if you do it well. And yeah i agree fit a grill too!

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
