all great ideas! how would we go getting my space saver on the plane.... had a dream lastnight that we got 2 flats :) lol nerest bauerepairs is a long long longggg drive!

jerry cans is a must! and i think the best thing is to top up when we hit like half to a 1/4 of a tank... the dude rekns the carf will get 450ks on the highway who can back this up? obviously its all how you drive but need somthing to gauge!

cheers for the route ill program it in my gps and see what it says.

got a lot of boot space who wants to save on shipping? :P

did you dream your flats were front or rear? cos your standard space saver won't clear the brembos up front :D

OH shit thats handy...

My Autech and the RS4 had diffrent space savers, and the trim piece that goes over the top is different, if you try to put the RS4 over the Autech space saver it sits up to high, where as the autech trim is recessed to suit?

Mine gets about 450km's a tank. So sounds about right.

Carry a few cans of Tyre Weld, hopefully you won't get anything that this won't fix - saves you worrying about carrying a spare which might not fit your new car.

Where abouts in Sydney are you picking up this car, Adam?

First of February? Sounds good, we should try and sort something out.

its a sunday but we need to get driving shortly after getting it... maybe meet up with a few of the nsw stags... how far from main syd is lane cove?

Lane Cove is well within the Sydney metro area, and about 15-20mins from Sydney city itself, on the North side of the harbour.

how far is the cab ride guna be?? fair bit im guessing ;)

take a train from airport into Central ($12 from memory) and change there to catch another train to North Sydney. Then catch a cab from Nth Syd station. You might even be able to get off somewhere closer to Lane Cove, just ask when you buy your train ticket. I lived in Syd for 5yrs.

5 yrs hey :( feel free to come along! :( fairly excited!

it will probably cost $40 or so for a cab from the airport/lanecove if there is traffic about.

for the money and time i would jump straight in a cab (unless someone can pick you up).

It cost me over $50 just to get from the domestic airport to the city (Wynyard) but that was during peak hour. It'll be another $20 from City to Lane Cove. But if it's the weekend that you're going, it'll be much quicker and cheaper. Don't forget if you catch a taxi you're slugged the bridge toll too. Catch a train will be about $15 each (Chris is going too yeah?) But a cab would be about I'm guessing $50 to LAne Cove. In saying that, whereis.com staes it's only a 19min drive from Syd Domestic Airport to Lane Cove. Seems a bit quick.

Yeah, wish I could go too!

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
