The Snow Button/switch Question

Hi guys,

been looking the whole sub-section here but couldn't find detail of it.

Just a quick question about the "SNOW" button/switch below the BOSE system...

What does it do?????

Is it like some sort 4wd switch?

Does it matter if put in on ...on the normal road instead of snow~?

Is it a 4 door you have?.....(Is it a V35?)

Either way, you won't hurt your car by using the button, but why would you leave it in that mode on std roads though.?

Hope someone helps you with a more technical response!

Snow button makes gearbox take off in 2nd gear to prevent wheel spin.

Power button allows gearbox to shift at higher rpm between changes.

Really? The whole subsection?

I clicked on the Search button at the top, typed "Snow" and made sure the box entitled "Search this forum only?" was ticked, and of the 7 results returned the bottom 3 all cover your questions.
