Finially My New Turbo Is Done

After waiting so long i finially got my new turbo finished.

Here are some pics of it getting flow tested at a secret test site.

Well it was custom made so who knows.

Seriously it produces 2Megawatts (2000 kw) with the impelllar spinning at only 500rpm.

Seriously its what i hav been playing with over the last few months up in north qld. That pic is of a small hydro electric turbine, it works the same way as a car turbo execpt the water enters and spins the impellar which spins a shaft which is connected to a generator which produces electricity.

My company is building the whole power station at the moment and the good bits like the turbine just went it!!

Also i am the site manager at the moment for the rest of the mechanical section which is getting installed.
