Weathershields

gave the stag a full correction detail the other night, whilst laying down the glaze i noticed a crack in the passenger side weathershield, after having a closer look, its cracked half way along the part that clips on the body of the car, does anyone know if it can be repaired or does anyone know where i can find weathersheilds for it, ive rang round a few places and nissan warehouse in melbourne have them but there $350 trade price, i nearly collapsed when he told me,

any tips on repairing or where to find them used would be awesome,

you wouldn't be able to repair it witout noticing it, unless you painted over it after?

quite a number of people don't like them and you'll find them for sale privately every now and then - check the classifieds section for people wrecking stags too. i love them personally

i pulled mine off the other stagea i had.. people do it so just wait around... normaly go for like $50-100 each

Araldite, the stuff you have to mix up. When I bought a 2nd hand replacement, half the part which clips on the car had broken off so i Araldite'd the whole thing to the car. That shield ain't going no where.

or use urethane, you can heat it up and remove it later if you want to remove it. it's the stuff that is used to glue windscreens in
