Car is a 1996 Nissan Skyline, Series II R33.

Looking for $18,500 ono. All offers will be considered.

99,000kms

Will have RWC

Rego until July

Location: Mackay, QLD

Users ChokuDori and Shilohr32gtr have both been in this car, and feel free to ask them about it.

Standard engine, which compression Tested fine about 1 month ago. No signs of wear. Its been well looked after.

I'm a tuner so this car has been well looked after and constantly maintained.

Performance Mods:

-Garrett GT3037 Turbo charger (0.63 IW rear) Low mounted. Good for cops not being able to see.

-Gizzmo Electronic Boost Controller

-SplitFire Coilpacks

-Nismo 555cc Injectors

-Genuine Nismo 275lph Fuel Pump

-3200 pound Clutch, handles the power without a problem

-Front Mount Intercooler (600x300x76)

-Apexi Plumbing

-Boost Cooler Water Methanol injection (worth $800) (may pull off the car if negotiations lead to that)

-The Rest of the Plumbing is done by a professional, and you pretty much won't see any better anywhere else

-Apexi PowerFC with Hand controller

-Exhaust Adjustable Cam Gear

-Full Stainless Exhaust Turbo back, custom made - Within Legal levels

-Bilistien Shock Absorbers with Whiteline Springs, Especially setup for this car. Fully Height Adjustable in 8mm steps. No Need for dampening adjustment as they are multivalved and are self adjusting. (SydneyKids Group guy)

- FULL camber and castor kit. The camber is wearing PERFECTLY on the back. The tyres are flat on the ground. THis is NOT some dodgey suspension setup. Its as good as it gets.

-18inch Shadow Chrome Wheels, 8.5inch wide

-New Rubber on front, 235 KU31 Khumo tyres, and 245s on the rear (KU31 Khumo), these are NOT cheap sh1t rubber.

Interior

-Viper Alarm System worth nearly $1,000, Remote Start, Window winders (When you arm the car, the windows wind up), central locking, and the Remote will page you if you are in range, and the alarm goes off.

-JVC Graphical Head unit, has Sub out, line in, etc etc.

-Splits in the Front

-6\9's in the rear (I think)

-Interior is like new, except for the Bolster on the drivers side. Common problem of it wearing.

-Brand new Leather Gear Stick Boot and Handbrake Boot.

-Comes with Genuine Skyline mats, etc.

Car is in overall excellent condition. The bodywork is almost perfect, bar a very small pin dent in the passenger door. I was quoted $70 from Paintless dent removal to remove it.

The paint is excellent bar a small rub on the very back passenger side bumper pod, which I will be getting fixed shortly.

This car goes very well, as most people would know, and has been looked after all over, and not flogged. A lot of people will tell you that I drive like a grandma, but when giving a squirt, I'll do it in a respectable way, definately not wrecklessly, bouncing off limiters doing burnouts etc.

Car has been tuned for good fuel economy, and great power, and is very responsive. First and second will fry the tyres very easily, and if you're not careful third and be a little dangerous as well.

As you'll see, the car is making over 300rwkw and has a massive torque curve. Almost on par with a 300rwkw 5.7l Ls1. This makes he car very fun to drive. I've run low 12's down the 1\4 mile, struggled to make and 11 due to suspension and traction issues, but I am sure with some tweaking (if you're a 1\4 mile racer) you could get it into the high 11s.

Buyer will also get a full run down on servicing and what to use, and how often to change it. Stick to these guide lines and I'm sure it will go another 100,000kms.

I'm selling for a genuine reason. It hurts me to sell this car, as I have grown quite attached to it.

Thanks

Jonathan

    • Yes I can see how that would put you off HFM, especially with the price of good quality brake fluid. From what I understand it as you say the BM50 is the standard BMC for a R32 GTR, I must admit I would like to go far a Genuine Nissan BM57, but lack of cash prevents that at present. With the price being so close between the genuine BM50 and BM57 a BM57 New it seems a better choice as you gain that 1/16 bore size with the BM57, I would be interested in how much difference you feel with the BM57 fitted. I am going to take SteveL's advice in the short term and see how much actually comes out of that proportioning valve vent and save up for the Genuine Nissan part. Thanks for clarifying the HFM failure
    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
    • Low battery? Maybe check capacity? I know first-hand, on BMWs if your battery drops below 80% capacity, it starts causing strange issues.
    • 8.5 +37 = should fit rear, but I think it'll hit on front. What you want is low 30s/high 20's front, mid 30's rear. That 17" screenshot you posted looks good, I'd run it on my R32 (but that's long dead now). For tyre sizes, my rule of thumb is: 8': 235, 9": 255. But that's just my opinion. Nismo sizes: 18x8.5+35/18x9.5+38 is a good starting point.
