lucky you. I had mine dis-activated because it's somehow linked to the japanese immobiliser (??) which was removed to make way for Aust Std immobiliser/alarm.

Interesting... im pretty sure mine has the Aust Std and Jap.

Is there somewhere you can check under the bonnet to see where/what the immobiliser is installed?

can't be bothered. best person to ask is Chris Rogers. he did my alarm/immobiliser and removed the whole scotch lock of japanese immobiliser thing which I sent to Warren (waz) as he was interested in that tangling cable...

Gracias signore! =)

I gotta speak to him about getting an AUX for my CarPuter, ill tag that to the list!

yeah. he mentioned something about being possible to rewire my drop-down mirror button to the reverse gear selector, but the trick is getting the mirror to tilt down far enough when reversing and stop when it reach the lowest mirror angle (rather than having the motor keep turning on and prematurely wear out or damaged the motor itself), plus a problem of 'remembering' the original mirror position when the gear selector is moved out of reverse position.

there should be another button somewhere... to turn on / off that feature...

can I ask you, after you finished reversing do your mirrors go back up when you put it out of reverse?

yeah its only wen u shift in reverse that it drops down after it resumes the standard position.

yeah i'm also wondering whether or not u can stop the drop-down from occurring =/

hey guys im so glad someone brought this up!!

i dont know if i have flicked something, but everytime i put it into reverse the mirrors go down, its so annoying!!! can someone let me know what exactly do i press to get it back to normal.

On my V35 there is a toggle switch under the drivers side, just above where your right knee would sit, small and just says "auto" on it...

UNDER UNDER though...

I think its an awesome feature, make's reversing a breeze! =)

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
