Yahoo Auctions - Japan.

I'll post the direct link to all 5 stud wheels 17's and 18's when I get home tonight

What sorta price range are you looking at? The Rays 57D looks quite good.

Dan: Agree with Tris.. Chromes are bad!

Tris: You'll probably like them since they come in fluoro yellow and orange!

Tas: They come in 4holes too!! But probably bad for resale.

Just have a play with the search bar in the top left. Being Jap it doesnt under stand english the best, but you end up finding most things.

Oi another question....lol

I was just looking at spacers on ebay, You recon a pair of 25mm would do the trick for the rears?

SHIT! If its easy buying there and these are genuine... I felt so cheated for buying the LMGT4s I have now!!! They even come with the dura nuts from rays...

Thats awesome thanks heaps bro

So if i find some that i like how that f*ck am i supposed to get them?

It's easy as buying shit off yahoo. You need to use a broker as you cant just bid if you dont have a Jap bank account however. There are loads of brokers, all charge around the same.

www.importmonster.com.au is one, there are a couple of small timer people on secret drift who are cheaper, but things may take longer as it's just a sideline business (Aussies living over there just earning some extra bucks).

Just do some re search and see who people have used.

Thats the start price and it currently has no bids.

Shipping is a killer on wheels. Mate picked up a set of uber rare offset Wantanbe's, was about $600. came to about 1000 - 1100 landed in Aus

Question has too many variables to answer correctly. Size? Offset? Tire choice? Not all tires are the same width, eg: some “225’s” are wider or more narrow then other 225’s.

Guards rolled? Flared? How low? What camber?

My rears are 18x11 (give or take) and I still was running an 8mm rear spacer… There was an easy 2mm more clearance, I could have run a 10mm spacer if I had longer wheel studs, even more if I got a narrower tire as my 225’s are wider than other 225’s.

What look are you trying to achieve? Like mine? Or more aggressive?

These are the only photos I have, they’re shit and I’m not going out side to take more as I’m lazy. As you can see the rims already sit a fair way out, when the car is off the ground and the camber is more like zero, they’re a good 1/2inch out past the guard line. I'm putting the rear outter lips on the front and having new rear outter lips made to make it aggressive

    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
