Im prob just reading this wrong but this is what I found.

The GTS-t Type M included larger five-stud 16 inch wheels, four piston front callipers and twin piston rears. ABS was optional (except for the GT-R), viscous LSD was standard on all turbo models and optional on all but the GXi. Nissan also produced 100 Australian models of the R32. These were the only non-Japan only Skylines ever produced. There was also a 4WD version of the GTS-t Type M, called the GTS-4.

Please explain :)

Just so you all know.. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A GENUINE TURBO! R32 that wasn't a Type-M.. No, you havent. They all have 4 pot fronts and 5 stud hubs. It's just a marketing hype.. All friggen turbo R32's are Type-M's with different trim levels, just like options and trim levels on any other car.

Learn about full stops. :D

The 100 Australian models were GT-Rs. They weren't produced in Australia though (AFAIK), they were produced in Japan but locally delivered by Australian nissan dealers (To be fair this information is not described in that quote). The bit aboute the GTS-4 is the next sentance and is unrelated to the previous.

It is definitely poorly worded. Just goes to show you can't always trust wikipedia

    • Yeah, Duncan is helping sell me back to Android devices. I've hated the whole Android head units due to their speed issues. Even in my old Hyundai Kona (2022 model), it behind the scenes was Android, and slow and shitty to start up. Once running wasn't bad, but still a good 15 to 30 seconds.
    • My roof rails are off atm on the E39 until the rust is fixed. I did find another little bit of surface rust under the rails when I took them off. As @soviet_merlin said I'd just leave them alone unless you're planning on ensuring they're properly sealed. I was on the fence about leaving them off as the delete is still a thing in BMW E39's but I feel like the car is missing something (er, it is, der) with them off and I'm looking forward to putting them back on.
    • Man, I miss having a phone that fits into my hand!
    • The speed this thing starts up is making me want to replace my old one. Though my old one immediately kicks into reverse camera as soon as reverse is engaged, it's clearly not part of the android system. For everything else though, starting up, connecting to hotspot, opening maps, starting music in spotify is easily a ~2 minute affair.
    • Yeah well per the video it took 15s for the stock unit to start up....even if I give it a few seconds discount for starting that is at least 12 sec before you get a reverse camera if you are trying to leave a park.  The android unit is way faster, but 2016 for the stock unit is a long time ago in consumer electronics
