Inner West Crew Whoretown (toowong/st Lucia/kenmore/indooroopilly And Sometimes Sunnybank?)

you know... even though they put MR on the plate... still doesn't change that fact that it's a girl's car. It is still, and always will be a Lancer. The plate should say MRS

Com on now dont be hatin :)

On a serious note have you ever been in one?

Yeah I thought it would be too but it just arrived 10 minutes ago and it is looking like the worst piece of engineering I have seen in a while. The twins have been done nicely but the rest of it is hell messy. The fuel system and boot battery are neat but engine bay...yuk. It serves a purpose though, I guess. And with over 600hp at the wheels it serves it well.

It's Josh's old car btw

FYI C-Red were given the car after dad and I sold it.. Pretty sure they started pulling the trim and did the "epic" boot install

No... I'd feel dirty  it'd be like riding in a Holden... which I had to do once... No matter how many showers I had, I just couldn't get clean :)

Like riding in a holden ? ? ? ?

NO WAYS MANG . . . . Its an import, they might look like a trolley but i bet if you had a drive of the evo8mr you would be converted ;)

Seriously a sweet car to drive

I've been sleeping! Getting the best night's sleep I've had in ages! Slept from about 9 - 7, was great!! That's the most consecutive sleep that I've had all year.

Ahem!

I do believe

soft!

lol, read it again. Not handle like a Holden. Just it'd make me feel as dirty as the time I had to ride in a Holden, or if I had to ride in a Holden again. Unclean.

I'm sure they're great to drive, Colin keep on at me about that too. But it doesn't change that fact that they're a chick's car, and look like a trolley

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
