Hey :D

I came across this little gem in my travels that I though you all might like.

Gentlemen, I present to you the Basilica of St Mang.

very noice matey!

hope u enjoyed ur trip would of been awesome!

beer!, architecture, people, foods .. everything!

hope u learnt from it !

and i wasnt really asking for permission bro, as we didnt have alot of skylines in qatar, i didnt know alot about them apart from the basics, its good to gather opinions and thoughts of people who are more experienced so that you dont end up making stupid mistakes, why make a mistake and learn from it when you can learn off the mistakes of other people and save alot of money, its all about being efficient :D , i mean thats one of the major reason for the existance of SAU isnt it? learning and gaining knowledge from fellow Skyline owners, i just like to gather thoughts about things i have on my mind regarding the car and all of you guys are always ready to give good advice and help, if i am where i am its probably because of the forum and all the knowledge and help it has provided me with, i could have made alot of major mistakes since i bought the car but SAU has come to the rescue every single time :/,

i hope you get what i mean.

Cheers

yeh gotta admit the paint is relly nice and unique in the pic of the front of the car, i would love to have metallic green r34 gtr, i dont think any1 has ever done that before, would look awesome, would have the perfect balance of green and metallic/candy whatever though,

trying to find some pics

Just keep a look out for them on forums. Maybe import monster or ebay?

+1 for TE37. Looks great + easier to clean that multis. Man your 34 is really a money pit now! Just got new rims not long ago and now you're changing again... Hahaha.

PS: you do realise for TE37s to have those dish size, you'll needa get 10.5" yah?

Yeah Im looking at getting a new set of 18x10.5 & 18x9.5 . . . Will they both look good ?

hey guys,

posted a thread in another section, only got a few replies yet,

just thought i should ask opinions here as well,

basically My Fujistubo Titanium Cat-back as you guys now is very quiet until about 4000rpm, especially on idle etc, its mainly because of the resonator, currently it meets all DB sound levels and ive never had problems with cops etc when i get pulled over,

ive put in a high flow cat and front pipes now so that should deepen the note but sometimes especially after being in other peoples cars here feel like have a exhaust thats a bit louder below 4000rpm as well, so i was considering cutting out the resonator and putting in a straight pipe,

i am 99% sure it will be over the 90db limit once this is done, do you guys reckon its worth the extra attention from coppers and possible defects or should i just stick with what i have now, its only a 100 dollar job to do and doesnt take very long,

i havent heard what the car sounds like now after the cat and front pipes btw.

Yeah cut it out, the louder the better :D

Second rims are sick as clamydia. CE28's? Fkn love those rims

Yeah they CE28N's

After the specs on the standard bov for a rb25. Interested to see a exploded view.. see whats going on in there. If anyone has got anything could you pm me please ?

bov.gif

anyone know where to buy brake line tube and fittings in brisbane?

im after solid tube.

Enzed/Pirtek?

hahahaha so tru if i cum to think of it, its the why the hell is my car so quiet syndrome that hits me when im sorrounded by other skylines,

nah man im never really into turning heads stuff, i dont even head to the spit or places where people bring their "hotted up cars"my car barely clocks 300ks a week , n most of that is groceries and haircuts thats about it,the longest trip its makes every week is to chapell hill and the carwash, ive always wanted a GTR coz like i said in Qatar unless u know the king personally its next to impossible to able to get one, no matter even if your willing to pay 100grand AUD for it, just very difficult, so it means alot have one here.

at the end of the day 18 year olds will always be 18 year olds, i just happen to be one :D ,

please spell come as come and jizzing cum as cum

its a little off putting :/

+11ty. Next person that does it is going to get cricket bat'd.

    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
