why would you want to remove sport from tv?? so we can see more awesome reality shows or perhaps more reruns of the simpsons and home improvement?

if sport HAS to be on tv, then it should be on it's own channel. and not cluttering up all the others.

reality tv shows can go too.

simpsons and tool time can stay though!

Im also thinking about getting a set up similar to sydney kids bilstien set up...i dont know enough about suspension to need adjustability anyway lol

Hmm... I'll look into it when the time comes (greddy edfc). Whats this sydneykid's suspension? Blistein with whiteline? I would love the olins but too exp for what I'm using it for.

I do agree with you even though I'm thinking of getting tein ss but unless I've got the edfc, I doubt I'll ever be f**k changing the setting manually using the adjuster (which I think 99% of the people does too). But with the edfc, it makes it a whole lot easier and I will actually research on suspension to adjust them myself. The other reason for getting them is resale. I find them easier to sell than mix and match setups, should I ever want to sell them.

Hahaha... good thing I dont watch TV at all. And even if I do, it'll be NGC, discovery or animal planet.

The bilsteins don't really need adjustment because they operate correctly over a wide range of conditions.

Adjustment is required for the cheaper coilovers because they only work in a limited range. So you need to harden them up for track work and soften them up if you want to drive on sh*t australian roads without breaking your back.

BILSTEINS FTW

So Im acctully commg out tonight so give me details peoples

7:30pm baskin robbins chapell hill. I may or may not rock up sometime after 9...

+1. If you don't like it don't watch it, just as I don't watch any reality tv shows or any of the other rubbish that's generally on TV

get a job, and stop watching so much TV

:)

Nah, probably just the super street with edfc if budget allows.

I have a super street in mine, suits me fine. Just have to test it out on the Track sometime this year.

Hahaha... good thing I dont watch TV at all.

me either... because of sport and advertising. unfortunately sometimes I have to suffer it when someone else has the tv on :)

as above.

any tv shows I watch are on dvd.

quit your b*tching then, You don't have to watch sport OR adds on DVD.

I tend to stick to channel BT for TV. But it doesn't deliver cricket, so I'm glad nine does (and now ONE and SBS as well, top stuff!)

Milmak Motorsport doing shit f**king mint?

equals?

ah yes. porn

Looking sick as aids Thristan!!!

Will do. Maybe do dinner at market sq and head there after? I'll let you drive my car to see how it feels like since you said the one you test driven feels funny.

Spoke with Shiz and he sounds keen to come along...

Oh and Yaface, that GTR looks ok the price is good and the R34 engine is a minor upgrade....but check the engine number in fast it way be any old RB26 just with R34 cam covers, also that colour sucks but thats a personal opinion and none of the standard R32 GTR colours are that interesting

Yeah you make a good point. We'll see though... I love gun metal btw :)

UPDATE: standard clutch is nearly toasted on the GTR, so ordering a new NPC clutch with Dan, i budgeted for s**t to happen but not s**t this expensive lol, oh the wonders of the skyline/GTR ownership, well hopefully shouldnt have to replace in quite a while, and im suprised standard one lasted about 80000Ks lol especially since i learnt driving manual in the GTR haha, if i had a car a few more days the clutch would have started slipping about 5mm of meat left on it, big thanks to Dan for going over the car and noticing it,

:'(

Adam you won't regret the NPC man... I've got one in the car atm, changed the stock one cos it seemed like a logical thing to do (spigot was rooted but the stock clutch was near new). Clutch is lighter than stock and is even easier to drive

PS NPC twin > Nismo ha ha

+1!!!

I don't know what that is.

Its the best channel ever. You can get shows just hours after they have first aired (anywhere in the world), there is no adds, the quality is better than DVD, and you can watch them whenever and as many times as you like.

You need a big interwebs though. And lots of HDD space.

John: That Hamish guy just posted on his for sale thread. Did he reply you? Also, I thought Michael's gonna sell his 32gtr? Thats gunmetal too.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
