Hi I fitted a Blitz to my R34 and it works a treat. The pipes plumb back into the original holes it does not go over the top of the fan.

A bit of cutting on the front bar but other then that pretty easy to install.

Got mine from Auto Barn as they are the agents now for Blitz.

Hi Adzmax, we have found standard R34 GTR intercoolers good up to 300 rwkw.  Cheaper and far more durable than other alternatives.

Yeah but GT-R coolers lack the BLiNG you get from a big HKS or Trust unit.

Oh and ARC coolers look like truck units... unpolished and not too impressive looking.

T.

Ok just got off the phone then and was told R34's are a pain in the arse to fit coolers in and I'd be looking at about $700 for pipes and fitting. Thats going over the engine too! so $1400, same price as a HKS cooler BUT it is already fitted for that price I guess. Hmmmm Decesions decesions.....

Adzmax we fitted the cooler in about 4 hours there is a bit of mucking about.

Main problem is the metal brace across the grill that has to be cut a little to fit the cooler. But if you have an angle grinder it is no problem. Also the front bumper has to be cut back slightly ,but I supose it depends on the type you have on your car.

All in all a pretty simple fit.

Just purchased the complete Blitz Cooler kit and away we went, took about 4 hours,we did not rush the job.

The piping connects directly back to the original piping.

Where are you located?

Decided to dig this old thread up just to say thanks for all the help!

I decided on an ARC cooler kit, Installed it myself and I must say it's a really sweet design. Very small amount of cutting to be done and pipe work is very neat as the pics show!

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!

    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
