hey guys this is a friend of myn this was taken from another forum but please keep your eyes open for it

89 Nissan 300ZX twin turbo got stolen around midnight last night. If anybody see's it or comes across anybody dismantling a performance 300ZX please call me on 0403 849 433. ANY information would be appreciated.

I don't know much about it, its 16psi overboosted with Tien coilovers and Gulf Stich rims. ACT plates YGB33H. Dad loves this car and it just pisses me off to think some scum out there have the nerve to come to our house and take it from our driveway.

I don't suspect we will be seeing it again (at least not in once piece) but please keep an eye out for it! The neighbours noticed that there have been a lot of cars cruising up and down our street in Conder lately but thought nothing of it. When my Dad went outside this morning his car was gone and the thieves had left a light blue laser hatch which was also stolen. Forensics have been here this morning to try and get prints off the laser and the owner came and picked it up.

The thieves were either very lucky or very organised because the 300ZX is normally parked in our locked garage but it had to be moved out so was unprotected outside on our driveway. As well as that, I normally park the Nissan in with my BMW but I have been house sitting so there was nothing stopping the thieves. Again, if you see ANYTHING that might be to do with the car don’t hesitate to contact me. Thanks.

Thats it, we need to adopt American sentencing for car theft, not slapping them on the wrist. I'll keep an eye out for it aswell, as being in Gungahlin they might bring it here thinking it too far away for people to recognise it here. Good thing is that wing will stand out as I havent seen many like that.

Put a number we can use to contact someone. Hope it is found.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
