nooo! could of know sooner, just replaced new piping for my pod today and scared that something might happen if the car was on the dyno, but ill be coming tomorrow and cheering

Better on the dyno with a professional mechanic next to it than mid-corner through the hills...

I'm home early, had enuf of the heat and homo wind lol, awesome day and finally could put some faces to usernames, and my power read out was definatly a surprise, all smiles

Firstly massive kudos and thanks to Cara, Ruby, John Keen, Shane and anyone else involved in putting the day on. Was a great turnout, a good variety of cars, no car died (I hope the R31 wagon was ok), some good dyno numbers and most importantly was a well run event. :P

Congrats to Andrew (Blue32) for taking out the Dyno Queen trophy with 390.x rwkW!:huh:

I would have liked to have seen how close to that I could've come but alas the new Blitz EBC didn't want to release more than 11psi. ;)

sorry i had to bale kinda quickly. i lost track of time and was running really late to pick my silvia up from the tyer shop

good to meet new people and see other people i havent met before.

i was hoping for more from my car but not at the same time considering its stock :P still had standard dump pipes haha

thanks for setting the day up had a good time!

heya

sorry but im out :( took the car to road and track.... problem only got worse and theyve diagnosed two internally leaking injectors... worst timing ever, but at least someone else can get a run - i know the car feels like its trying to run a 100 sprint after being punched in the balls... it tries... it just... cant...

;(

-D

Edit that said, does anyone have a couple of stock 444 nissan gtr injectors? will pay beer

hey mate ive got a bag of stock GTR injectors, some damaged, some may beed the caps replaced (costs like $5 for all of em) but some are also in working condition. and i am partial too beer.

i'll have a look over and find the good ones if you want?

Thanks to all who came and attended. A top effort to all. Good to see many cars with different power outputs having a go.

Some God-awful fueling issues won me the wooden spoon ... but it was good to get in there and have a go even tho I knew it was down on power. At least I got best presented stagea. :P

Congrats to Andrew (Blue32) for his 390rwkw win! Awesome to see those numbers. :(

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
