Tony de Wonderful
Thinking of getting some new wheels for my '97 R33 GTS25T. It's got stock wheels at the moment. Give me some ideas of what rims I can put on and low profile tires etc. What sizes do I need? Can I put a slightly fatter tyre on the back? I'm kinda not too knowledgeable about these things. Don't want anything too blingy like with hubs that spin on their own or anything. Where's good in Perth central or S of river to buy and get fitted? syfon
I've got 18X8.5's front and 18x9.5's rear and with the coils being right down and lowered + spacers it sits right and doesnt run I'm not sure about the offsets of my wheels. They are Starcorp Racing Rims - white 5spokes with a polished lip. Not sure which Starcorp's they are either.... Does it matter what profile tires you use? Can u just stick on 18" (or 19") rims??? Tony de Wonderful
just do not go to tempe etc and get bling rims they look shit on skylines Damn I saw this beat up mini-van outside work today with these shiny as hell 18" or 19" rims with dead low profile tires. Talk about lipstick on a pig. I assumed it was being driven by Hispanics. Can u just stick on 18" (or 19") rims??? 17's will look good..and tyres are cheap but I'd just put some 18's with low profile tyres, then maybe look into springs, talk to Brett at wilkinson..he'll do good price for lowered king springs Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/285315-new-wheels/#findComment-4792852 Share on other sites

I need coil-overs? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/285315-new-wheels/#findComment-4792870 Share on other sites
SexycanI
dont need coilovers for lowering, can just put new lowered springs. King springs do: Low and Super Low..you choose how low you want it. Nic_A31
I get trade price at Wilkinson's FTW Springs somewhere between $100 - $200 a pair, not sure on coilovers in Perth. Wilkinson do K-Sport, WA Suspensions for Tein. Certainly much cheaper from over East even after shipping unless you know someone and/or give good head.
