R33 S1 Sedan Rhd Electric Window

All,

It seems front what I can tell my R33 series 1 Sedan drivers side electric window has stopped working or got stuck.

The windows stopped half way down position. When I use switch it just makes a clicking sound from inside the door.

So I may need a replacement mechanism. Anyone got one for sale?

Is it the same mechanism as the 2 door skyline? The doors and glass are different of the 2 door vs 4 door.

Any help appreciated

ps Im aware of other posts regarding replacing the mechanism.

Update

The window seems to have self healed. Working but I dont trust it . So I disconnected the power to the drivers window. nothing worst a window stuck half open except a window stuck fully open.

Take the door trim off, and pull out the switch relay box (bolted into the door itself is the black box, held on with 2 screws).

Pull it apart and check for crappy solder joints, try and fix them and see how you go.

Worse comes to worse, new relays are $75-150 from wreckers.
