at this stage Krishy, I'm picking the Lions for a top 3 pozzy and Freo top 6 or 7...............but unlike the lions, Freo are likely to break your heart by the 1/2 way mark of the season

EDIT: Tangles got in before me

Normally I would agree with the Freo comment as they really are an off/on team with the way they play. But after watching there first few matches and beating Geelong and only loosing to St Kilda by a couple goals I think they will play good football for the entire year (they just seem to have a great deal of enthusiasm this year). I predict them to finish just out of the top 4 as that will be filled with stk, cats, lions, cwood. I still think that the crows will finish above the power on the ladder but both teams will struggle to make a finals appearance.

unfortunately the opposition wasn't as good in the Nab Luke but otherwise agree.

Ryan, if your boys can put in a good showing against the Bullies & Lions, then they are the goods cause they're the last 2 teams to benchmark yourself against.

Pies are also top 5 no doubt but they're also heartbreakers cause one week a bottom side will roll them and the next week they'll smash a top side....go figure :(

I agree Ryan, they have finally got their shit together and it shows. I just hope they dont come up against a top team that thrashes them, it will drain their confidence.

i caught the last quarter, dogs were running rings around the crows. Very bad form.

Hope port puts up a decent fight tomorrow night. Not too fussed as a loss is pretty predictable, but that last half against geelong last week was a bloody embarrasment... Want to see a solid effor for the full 4 quarters

i dont know why but i ended up watching the whole game......crows started off really well but turnovers and bad decisions cost them the game.....simple skill errors as well....bt the 4th quarter the dogs had a 40 something lead......not a good start for the final quarter.....i think they will be hard up against the power

the handball is killing the Crows in the 3rd and is the Truck too slow or is he scared of Big Bad cause he's finding alot of space?

I would've dropped him after the last 4 games, but in the first half on Friday night I think he played his best football so far this year.

    • I put another 2 layers of putty and still getting pinholes. Think i might either try the filler first then putty or just leave the little specs of guidecoat as is and get primer to fill it in. I think i misread understood what you said above when you said my glazing putty wasnt enough for the size of the area. I thought you meant 1 coat and i needed to. But i think what you meant was that I needed filler first? I also went a bit too far out the repair area as my spreader is a bit large.
    • You do sorta. In my instance they were little specs and I didn't even think they'd be pin holes but it all makes sense now. Huge learnings there!
    • Ah ok that makes sense and it's where i think i went wrong because before when i put filler then putty, i didn't have this issue and now i do because i only put 1 coat of putty. Thanks for that heaps man, it's a good way to put it! With my putty I'm using the dolphin glaze which i just saw it says finishing putty lol. I didnt put filler cause it was a shallow area but i see what you're saying. Also I'm an idiot, i just realised that while i put new putty there are pinholes! I probably saw it before and ignored it for whatever reason. I think because i thought putty is used to fill pin holes that itself wont make pinholes but that's incorrect of course. I feel silly now haha. ok I think I know what to do next. Thanks man!
    • Yes correct, the guide coat is showing low spots, in this instance the low spots are pin holes. I agree wetting the areas makes it more visible (but you can see it's there before you wet it as well lol).  Once the panel is flat, the guide coat will be gone
    • I wouldn't do it outside, the contamination landing in the paint, the wind and a million other things will drive you crazy.     That's a way too big of an area to use your single stage putty on.  Pretend it's all filler and those pin holes appeared, you'd then use the putty on those pin holes.  They are still pin holes, hmm I expect a few coats of high fill primer could deal with those.
