hi mate,

i recently bought a cooling panel/air diversion guide from Hi Octane in Sydney, ive got a RPS13 180SX though, its polycarbonate and was only $40.00, look on ebay or call them, they might make/sell one for your car too...

i was chasing one for a r33 gtst as well and found hi octane ones, only problem is they sold out so quickly for that make, but i asked them if they are still gonna make them and they said yeah we are still making them just none at the moment.

asked if gtr would fit, answer was no, that was about 2 weeks ago now...

i purchased one of the ones from high octane about 3 weeks ago, after a few dramas with the courrier company i shall be receiving it within the next two days and i will let u know if it fits on my series 2.

I spoke to the boys at high octan n they said they only make series one... N they won't fit a series two cos it's different... So I'm still looking for one and any help would be awsome! Thanks heaps!!!

I bought the high-octane GTR plastic one, and then got a ruler and a Stanley knife. I marked a line from one angle across to another, and it then fit perfectly.

Keep running the Stanley knife along the line, and eventually it cuts clean through and you couldn't tell it was modified. =-]

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
