Up for sale is my GZ20 soarer

Its a factory black interior was originally black over silver with 222,xxx kms on the chassis

It was imported into the country nearly 10 years ago under the SEVS scheme so it has a Green Compliance plate and is not a fifteen year rule item.

Car came to me pretty much stock with some horrible rims and an average catback exhaust...it was a factory manual 1GGTE

Over the last three years I have developed the car and turned it into an animal of a thing

Pioneer Headunit and 4" two ways in the front

Still registered in SA and has never been defected

It really has been a build of epic proportions money wise as I havent really scrimped on anything...as a result it has taken its toll on my wallet (somewhere just under 30K for total build cost) and my time and I am at a point now where I have to move on as I have lost the passion for the car and dont really have time to drive it anyway.

The car is making a touch over 300rwkw at the moment, in the dry it happily frys the tyres in 1st, 2nd, 3rd just accelerating up the road, if you are happy with the clutch it will bake 4th as well

It has all off the supporting hardware to wind the wick up on the turbo and push for overe 400rwkw, it is just a set of injectors away (and a second 044 pump if you want to go for over 410rwkw)

I have also painted the engine bay the colour I was going to paint the whole car, I have 4 litres of paint, the necessary hardeners, thinners and clears needed I will throw in (cost me over $800)

I also have some other extras I will throw in if the asking price is met.

The bad parts:

The interior is a little bit ratty, nothing too bad though, just a couple of broken plastic bits (will photograph tonight)

The passenger sideskirt front section needs to be pulled off the car and hammered straight as it hangs down a little bit

The drivers window does not go all the way down (this will be fixed before the car is sold though, I am waiting on a part from japan)

The paint is pretty average, it was done by a f**kwit from mount gambier (Beej) and he f**ked the job (hence the now green engine bay and included paint supplies)

There is no parcel shelf cover (the metal is there but the cover broke when I pulled it out to fit the coilovers)

The new thermo fan wiring is very untidy (see pics) but this will be tidied up and hidden properly this week

Price: 15K Firm (am open to swaps but only really after an R34 Sedan (turbo, manual) or an evo 5/6) would really prefer a cash sale though)

If it doesnt sell I will upgrade the injectors, do the paint and fit a brake upgrade but then I will be asking more for the car

I will get some more shots of the interior and the exterior tonight when I get home if people are interested

It really is an opportunity to own a mental street car (it is a genuine street car as well with functioning electrics, lights, full interior) that I have poured many thousands of dollars into for a fraction of what it would cost to build.

    • Learned a bit @PranK To add a twist to this take, I've done some further investigation and turns out I don't know if I even have coilovers. I have Mugen Showa on all corners, which appear to be struts / springs online. Someone may be able to correct me if I'm wrong.
    • Well, i've been told it's going to be in Poland around october - november. It should set off by the end of this month. Waiting for it to arrive is the easy part, searching for the right car, wake up in the middle of the night to see the photos and decide whether to bid or not - that was difficult
    • Thanks mate, i'll keep that in mind. Not sure though if the black carpet will fit grey interior. I'd prefer original Stagea set but if i fail to find one in another few weeks, i will probably come back to you. p.s. - is this original, licensed Nismo product?
    • I'm a strong believer that old sports cars should be reserved as weekend cars and owned by mechanically inclined people. The risk-reward ratio is only acceptable under those conditions.
    • @Stringycheese hopefully this is helpful. 🤣
