Can I Become A Member Of Qld Sau ?

Hi all , just a quick question on the membership. I live in Northern Nsw but am alot closer to the Qld major cities ( Goldcoast & Brisbane ) Can i still join the Qld SAU ? As attending their functions would be alot easier & closer for me ! I am currently not a member of SAU , but am looking to join.
