Hiya guys, getting ready to upgrade my fuel pump and injectors for my 33 GTST and got a few questions!

1. What pump should i look @ getting? (how much is it??)

2. How much can my stock injectors flow?

3. Are they side feed or top feed?

4. How much can CA18 and SR20 injectors flow and are these side or top feed?

5. Can i use 13B injectors?(if so how much do they flow?)

6. Any recommendations on what injectors i should get, how much they cost and how much they flow?

Any help on these 6 questions would help me out a whole bunch! thanks in advance!

not enough info, what are you chasing power wise, this will ultimately be the deciding factor on what sort of fuel pump and what size injectors are needed. Also, what sort of management do you have, as some management will run high or low impedance injectors.

RB25DET has side feed high impedance injectors, 370cc.

Chasing about 270-270kw ( i think thats when the turbo will max out.

Im going to be running a Microtech.

Already have the cooler and 3" from turbo back.

should be ok. As a rough rule of thumb, on 6 cyl engines, injector cc approx equals bhp that can be supported.

Microtech should allow you to run either high or low impedance injectors, S15 injectors would be a straight swap though, and will fit into your fuel rail perfectly.

fuel pump, something like a bosch 910 or 040, I think they are available for under $300.

270-270kw? Not much leeway there :) At the fly or wheels? Because if at the wheels, you'll need to upgrade the turbo well before 270. If at the fly, your standard injectors will be fine.

You can use S15 injectors but finding 6 would be difficult cos they are from an SR20. You'd need to buy 2 sets which isnt all that economical, so you might aswell just go buy a new set of 550ccs.

Also a Walbro 255L/ph should be suffice, or the Bosch as previously mentioned!

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
