Will a HKS camp2 to work with a DLC harness if you have an after market ECU. Seeing as consult wont recognise an after market ecu, will the HKS camp?

if the camp connects to the ECU via consult port to get information, and you dont have the standard ECU, it wont be able to get that info. whether it can still get power from elsewhere and other readings (like mechanical ones it doesnt get from the ecu), maybe
