From what I've read on ns.com, it's still going ahead. If it's pouring rain, then looks like it will be cancelled.

In saying that, I hope Jizzles will take the weather conditions down here into consideration, as it might be better than Sydney if it's raining up there.

Just a heads up for us South Cost peeps:

As Jizzles has mentioned already we'll meet at the bottom of Mount Ousley in the car park instead of North Gate Maccas, less popo and more parking availability.

Arrive at carpark: 1:15pm

Leave: 1:45pm sharp

For those not sure where it is exactly, here is a link on google maps:

http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Mount+Ousley+Rd&daddr=-34.4165413,150.8597161+to:-34.3942982,150.8461402+to:Picton+Rd&geocode=FRAS8_0dqUT-CA%3BFWPY8v0dxO_9CClHi6CMKRoTazEQbJflZ30BEw%3BFUYv8_0dvLr9CCkRf0PzxBsTazGg4Uifa30BEw%3BFQh-9P0ddBj8CA&hl=en&mra=dvme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=16&via=1,2&sll=-34.413725,150.865588&sspn=0.015649,0.033023&ie=UTF8&ll=-34.402732,150.881488&spn=0.015651,0.033023&t=h&z=16

This map also contains the route we should take if we're going up Mount Keira, which will be more fun than Mount Ousley imo.

For people more south who aren't that familiar with Wollongong area, take a few minutes to study the route in case you get stranded behind in traffic when we take off.

Of course we'll pull over a couple of times to allow people to catch up and assemble, so don't worry too much.

If people arent too keen on doing Mt. Keira, then we'll just go up Ousley instead.

Anyways, if South Coast people can reply here to confirm they've read this and attending, then we'll know what to expect for tomorrow then.

PS Jizzles: Maybe you can give me your number so I can tell you if weather permits down here in the morning.

Also what channel are you going to be on? In saying that, UHF Ch 4 is good for down here cause there's a repeater that covers Wollongong area, so its good for talking long distances on our little hand helds. Just keep in mind there will probably be alot of truckies and bogans talking on it lol

Good stuff oddsock :)

Humbla: If you look at point A on the google map link and zoom in all the way you will see the carpark. You wont miss it ;)

Or if you're going to north gate maccas, go up Mt Ousley road which is directly opposite and it will take you to the bottom of Mt Ousley where the carpark is.

Follow point A to B on google maps:

Lol yeah, we spent over an hour getting the cars positioned for photos, so I can understand why people are getting anxious to see some car pr0n.

Hopefully Jizzles will deliver soon :)

The cruise itself was pretty good. I didn't expect so many people at the Wollongong Pre meet. Made the Mt Keira route much more fun :)

Didn't really count how many there were, but you can count how many in the photos when they come out :P

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
