On the 4th Feb I pick up my new 1999 RS4S stagea, which I imported through Kristian at Iron Chef, from the compliancer. It's only got 67,000ks and looks pretty clean.

Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm thinking Nistune, fuel pump and possibly exhaust will be done pretty quickly once I get it. And of course a stereo, I don't have many tapes lying around to play.

nice. Q: does it come with books, service history?

best bet would be to do the 100,000km service, timing belt water pump etc

Then full exhaust system, up boost a little, nistune, coilpacks & fuel pump.

Dont do the nistune until you have a full exhaust upgrade, there is no point otherwise

Unfortunately it doesn;t come with books, but Kristian was pretty confident that the kms were legit and that it was in good nick. I'll be doing the service pretty quickly once I get my hands on it, before I do any mods. It will be getting a full exhaust, hopefully at the same time as the Nistune.

    • Learned a bit @PranK To add a twist to this take, I've done some further investigation and turns out I don't know if I even have coilovers. I have Mugen Showa on all corners, which appear to be struts / springs online. Someone may be able to correct me if I'm wrong.
    • Well, i've been told it's going to be in Poland around october - november. It should set off by the end of this month. Waiting for it to arrive is the easy part, searching for the right car, wake up in the middle of the night to see the photos and decide whether to bid or not - that was difficult
    • Thanks mate, i'll keep that in mind. Not sure though if the black carpet will fit grey interior. I'd prefer original Stagea set but if i fail to find one in another few weeks, i will probably come back to you. p.s. - is this original, licensed Nismo product?
