Well, it's soon going to be time to move on from the Skylines to something bigger and more family friendly. I'm putting this up now to gauge any interest but am looking to sell in a few weeks time. I purchased this in 2006 right after it was complied with 32,000km on the clock and it now has only 80,000km !

It's a 2000 Model Series 2 GT-V which means it has everything the Turbo model has except this has the Non-Turbo engine and gearbox. It as the RB25DE NEO Engine & 5 Speed Manual Box. Color is Athlete Silver.

Car has been maintained by me ( a registered mechanic ) and one other mechanic ( the only other person I trust with my car ) and it gets whatever it needs. The car is ALWAYS GARAGED and hardly driven ( 10,000km per year ).

Zero accident damage but there are a few minor marks on the body. No leaks of any fluids.

Here's the things I've done to it.

UNDER BONNET

  • KOYO 53mm Radiator ( temp NEVER gets above half way up the gauge even in 45 deg temps )
  • Apexi Panel Filter ( in standard air box )
  • Air Intake Deflector
  • Splitfire Coil Packs & Iridium Plugs
  • Stebel Magnum Horns ( gets the message across :D )
  • Earth Kit

BRAKES

  • CUSCO Master Cylinder Brace
  • ADR Approved Nylon covered Braided Brake Lines
  • RDA Groove Rotors
  • QFM Brake Pads

EXHAUST

  • Fujitsubo Legalis R Stainless Steel Cat Back ( sounds like a M3 under acceleration - & 100% legal )
    or
  • Factory 4 Door Turbo Cat Back & I'll throw in the Factory 4 Door Standard Cat Back

UNDER CAR

  • Bilstein Height Adjustable Shocks
  • KingSpring Coils
  • Whiteline Front Sway Bar
  • Whiteline Castor Kit

WHEELS

  • 350Z Anniversary 18” Wheels
    or
  • 350Z 17” Wheels

IN CAR

  • Recaro Drivers seat with Bride Rail
    or
  • Original Factory Seat
  • NISMO Short Shifter
  • Tinted Windows ( Privacy Tint )
  • Series 1 Steering Wheel and Gear knob ( Black )

OTHER

  • RayBrig Light Globes
  • NISMO Smoked Side Indicators

NSW Rego until NOV 2011.

Selling price is $15,000 ono as is or I can bring the price down by removing items like Recaro, Fujitsubo, 350Z 18's etc and putting the alternatives in/on.

Car is in Sylvania NSW. Serious enquiries only please.

PM me ( Scott ), Post here or 0414-862-626

Pics to come......

Here are some pics. If there's no interest, I'll be pulling a fair bit of stuff off and selling it separately to lower the sale price of the car so if anyone's interested in the car as is, speak up :)

Anyone want to make an offer ? I 'will' need to sell the car since I need to buy something bigger soon, and need the money to do it.

BTW, tomorrow I'm removing the Fujitsubo Cat-Back and Recaro, and fitting the Turbo system and factory seat. Also probably remove some of the small after market items and re-fit the factory stuff.

Turbo cat-back system, factory drivers seat and engine cover now fitted. Reluctantly, I've decided to drop my asking price to $12,800 ono. I'm undecided if this will include the 18's or 17's so I'll post re that later.

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
