Still recovering but all is well, thank you.

I'm a busy man these days but will always try my best to make time for shenanigans with you lot ;)

That's good to hear mate. Defiantly due for a catch up but am going to be busy for the next 2-3 weeks as me and Amy are moving into a place of our own but once settled in will definitely organize a catch up

Almost had to ask you if I could borrow that big ass jack of yours last week man :)

Finally did the diff and drive shafts on the Silvia - but we made do with the smaller jacks and elbow grease!

You know, once you move out, that space you've got back home will be lost forever!!

They'll probably turn your space into a spa of some sort :P

Grats man, now you can kick back and walk around naked without having a worry in the world ;)

You should've. I trust that you would take care of it like your own...no reason not to loan it to a buddy of mine :)

Next time, ask. Always glad to help!

While Kinchrome do make some quality gear, I sometimes wish I got a Snap-On instead...

.

They already have ideas of what to do with my room. They were even in there yesterday while I was in the room measuring up to make sure it would all fit. Already walk around naked so no change haha

You mean a low profile bluepoint jack like mine? :P

Offcourse mate - I have mechanical sympathy for everything!

Well, I dare say I may have to ask for your lifting services in the next couple months when the motor comes out. Will be needing something to lift the front up on to the axle stands and don't really want to use the little 1400kg jacks for it as they don't even reach as high as the lowest hole on the stands (fail on behalf of supercheap who sell them as bundles lol retards)

must be going well then hey mate. good to see

Haha yes something like that man. So, what is happening to HCP now??

Guess I'll get all your customers now? :P

HCP will still be up and running for now. May change in the near future to DCP though. Still not sure at this stage

Going really well (knock wood) will have to organize a time to have you guys around for a few drinks once we are settled in and have all the furniture

That's good to hear man, so what things are happening on the 32?

I'm on the lookout for another motor to drop into mine and then tear down the current one - can never have enough 26's lying around ;) Or I might just work on the one. See how things are around chrissy!

  • 3 weeks later...

Been a while and I have a question for you fellas.

Anyone know a good dentist in town?

I need him/her to be good, reliable and not take me for a ride - you know, like one of those horror dentists on today tonight that perform multiple procedures on your teeth that you don't need.

I've suddenly developed a crack in one of my molars. Hurts a little when I bite on it and it's very sensitive to the temperature of the food I eat :(

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
