hey guys, i have a problem with my speedo not working quite rite, the needle doesnt seem to wanna swing round like it should, sorta sleepy for want of a better description! lol  When i take off, the needle just stays at zero til i hit about 60 clicks then jumps up to the speed im travelling.... same thing from 80 to 100 kays, very strange and VERY annoying. It has done this the whole time i have owned it, the guy i bought it off fitted white face gauges to it, so could he have effed sumthin up?? i really dont wanna have to buy another cluster, just want my speedo to work like it should. Anyone else have or heard of this problem?

Try pulling on the reset stalk for the speedo until it works, don't pull too hard though. If it works, then the contacts inside the stalk needs cleaning.

You mean PUSHING rather than pulling, don't you? Pull and you could break it.

Somewhere here this has been diagnosed as a 'dry' solder issue with the speedo connection. If you pull the gauge cluster and redo the solder, all should be good.

However, the trip-meter reset trick (pushing!) is a decent workaround.
