Hihi, just wondering, does any of the R34 owners out there has an Apexi N1 exhaust (or similar) installed?

I'm getting a GT Sepc front-pipe, high-flow cat 3", N1 Cat back exhaust.

Just like to find out, if you have any idea how loud does the thing sound (don't want to be far too loud)? and how many KW@wheel will it gain?

By the way, I am new, Hi all.

The APEXi N1 exhaust is over 90dB. You can get a silencer for it ($100) though, which makes about a 7dB difference (a 7dB difference is more than it sounds).

Get it engineered; from my understanding (or at least in WA), noise tests are done at 2/3 of the rev range, so it should pass that with a silencer -- to prevent an officer from telling you it's too loud.

thanks for the info. I was once told that the N1 will sound around 96db even with the silencer on.

Anyway, I might just try my luck, hopefully it won't be way to loud.

Cheers.

Dont' get a front pipe.

Get a full pipe from the turbo back.

Try CES Racing or the Sticky front/dump pipe thread in the for sale section.

I bought a Front pipe and now I want a Dump Pipe.

I could sell you my front pipe for about $250 is you want one cheap.

It's a Blitz Polished Stainless front pipe.

Only been on the car for a few months.

Cheers

Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
