noods
are they legal? just got 2 for free and was thinking of swapping them with my excessively worn rears. they are dunlop winter sports. how do they compare your standard 'summer' tires. inark
Snow wheels ahould not be used on the rd where there isnt any snow! i had them on my car when it landed and they werent taken off for compliance... the only thing theyre good for is dori tyres. they are dangerous in the wet... even in the dry my car used to get sideways taking off with very little throttle... rs73
I thought snow tyres are suppose to provide more grip on slippery surface? Or is it because the big grooves (to prevent snow clogged in it) reduces contact area and reducing grip on normal roads? How do these tyres work? inark
they are spongey almost.... they have like real deep grooves... almost like fins that u can push inwith ur finger (well my blizzaks did anyway) on a wet surface ie. rain... they are useless... u want contact with the road in the wet and way for the water to escape from under the tyre to maintain the most contact... these tyres dont do this.
