Installing Bc Golds In R33

when installing the fronts, i noticed the eyelet for the bolt is off center, so which side faces the front of the car and which side faces the rear??

I encountered the same problem on my 32 gtst and could not find any information on the the orientation required. I trialled them for fitment and clearance in both positions and found the offset side with the cap to be on the hub assembly side (as opposed to the shock nut and washer side); this was due to shock body fouling the hub assembly when installed in the other orientation.
