Anyone know any tricks i know the magnet trick the hinner the magnet the kess sticky but is it even suposed to stick well with a paper thin magnet ?

Sorry half asleep when i wrote that! If you have one of those thin fridge magnet cards and you apply it to the body and it doesnt stick too well, But a thick magnet sticks. How could you tell how thick the bog is?

you need access to a mil thickness reader - try some paint shops or powdercoaters to see if they have one you could rent in their carpark or something.

A thin fridge magnet should always stick, unless you're on the front of a GT-R. No magnet - knock on the panel. If metal, it'll sound like a tin drum. If full of mud, the sound will be flat and dead. Also, compare the sound you get side to side. You'll also want to look for pin holes (craters), and sand-scratch swelling. A soft orange-peel petina is nice to see. If it looks like glass, it's probably been polished to hide either a coarse spray job, sinking, dirt, or runs.
