Finally it happened........Thanks to Victor for organising the event...hopefully we get to organise more in the future....a Big Thanks to Gervase in joining us for the event........P.S: Victor if you can post some pics...that would be great....

agreed, a cruise needs to happen, maybe a little spirited driving?

should be some good V's getting around soon, maybe next time we don't limit it to V's either, Zeds too?

looking forward to this one.......should be nice if we get some more car into the cruise and Z's should be a nice option to include....

You are welcome, Shiva. Nice to meet you and your friends. It was great to finally meet QLD's V-series owners.

We will try to have a meet or cruise every 3-4 months. I will resize and post up photos before coming weekends.

hey guys, had a great time! good to finally check out some other v35s.

How about a next meet we have a bigger cruise to a lunch destination or something?? was pretty cool seeing a fleet of v35s cruising along :)

Glad you had a great time, Alex. Great to see you and your V35 coupe.

Next one should be a cruise sometime maybe in November. We will mostly likely have to skip December as a lot of us might be going on holidays.

Definitely with Zeds for a cruise! We have to get a VQ-series family together for that. :)

geez victor just moved to qld and already a meet? haha miss you man, post up pics. havnt been on sau for a long while time to browse around.

How's everything in Perth? I still have to call you up from Brisbane.

The meet yesterday was great. It looks like it had been long overdue for the boys and girls to enjoy the V-series scene in QLD. :)

Thanks for coming down from the north, Joshua. It was great to see you and Sam. That's a big effort from you to drive nearly 5 hours for this meet.

      Nope, needed to clearance under the bar a little with a heat gun, a 1/2" extension as the "clearancer", and big hammer, I was aware of this from the onset, they fit a 2.0 with this intake no problems, but, the 2.5 is around 15mm taller than a 2.0, so "clearancing" was required  It "just" touched when test fitting, now, I have about 10mm of clearance  You cannot see where it was done, and so far, there's no contact when giving it the beans Happy days

      It's been a while since I've updated this thread. The last year (and some) has been very hectic. In the second-half of 2024 I took the R34 on a trip through Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland - it was f*cking great. I got a little annoyed with the attention the car was getting around Europe and really didn't drive it that much. I could barely work on the car since I was living in an inner-city apartment (with underground parking). During the trip, the car lost power steering in France - split hose - and I ended up driving around 4,000kms with no power steering.  There were a few Nurburgring trips here and there, but in total the R34 amassed just shy of 7,000kms on European roads. Long story short, I broke up with the reason I was transferred to Europe for and requested to be moved back to Japan. The E90, loved it. It was a sunk cost of around EUR 10,000 and I sold it to a friend for EUR 1,500 just to get rid of it quickly. Trust me, moving countries f*cking sucks and I could not be bothered to be as methodical as I was the first time around.
