Thrust bearing problems??

a very small squeaking noise when foot off clutch, noise stopped with very small clutch pressure, then big grinding noises when foot all the way in.

I had that problem about 12mths ago and it was a spiggot bush. When the clutch was in it would make a grinding noise and also whenever I changed gears it made the grinding noise but whilst driving or idling in neutral it was fine. The noise gradually got worse over a 2mth period until I saved up enough to get it checked out. I got the stock clutch replaced at the same time because the gearbox had to come out (for a $10 part).
