Account Deletion

Could someone please delete my account, or tell me how to do it?.

Why don't you? How about removal of inactive accounts? I keep receiving emails from this site, even though I signed up almost 4 years ago for a quick look, and never used it, haven't signed in since and my account is still here.

I too would like my account removed.

So go to the bottom of the email and click the "unsubscribe" link.

Or option 2 - Go into your settings - and change the email notifications from Administrators to "not send".

Once you do either of those, you will not receive any.

We do not delete to stop scammers and other issues arising. Works quite well.

wow - that's so low tech it's actually surprising. I haven't been here for years and would like to leave, and the emails I get have no unsubscribe links.

I'll try an invalid email address and see if that stops them bugging me

The emails you do have unsubscribe links, just scroll to the bottom, like every other mailing list - that is where unsubscribe is.
