Stumpy?

just a quick question, i like the stumpy look for gearsticks like the silvias etc.. is it ok to chop the stick with a hacksaw without any side effects? purely for aesthetics not trying to get a cheap short shifter

my MOMO king knob just doesn't look right atm, like a baby holding an apple...

cant be done, it has a thread on the top of the shaft.

problem 2 is that the shaft is rubber filled to prevent vibration, you will stuff that too if you hack it too peices, best to just get a shortshifter which will give you about 20% high reduction

i don't need the thread, the MOMO knob isn't a screw on.

shame about the rubber tho. was looking for more than just 20% hieght reduction, how much is a shortshifter to fit roughly?
