oh so do you want me to get em? coz I've put in an order for 5 thru already.

I've got updated prices tho... here ya go:

Price of 1.5W CB: 1 Unit = 76.20, 3 Unit = 70.15, 5 Unit = 64.30

Handsfree: 1 Unit = 9.58, 5 Unit = 8.85, 10 Unit = 8.15

Mains Charger: 1 Unit = 9.58, 5 Unit = 8.85, 10 Unit = 8.15

Car Charger 12V: 1 Unit = 9.58, 5 Unit = 8.85, 10 Unit = 8.15

Pouch For CB: 1 Unit = 4.49, 10 Unit = 4.10, 25 Unit = 3.75

yeah funkymonkey, I'll have one of each item on that list.

CB $64.30

3 x Handsfree @ $9.58 = $28.74

2 x Mains Charger @ $9.58 = $19.16

2 x Car Charger @ $9.58 = $19.16

Pouch $4.49

24 x 800mAh AAA batteries @ $1.65 = $39.60 (can you get any better than 800mAh - what are the prices of higher mAh ones?)

Order total = $175.45

Let me know where to transfer the cash and how much postage you want on top (to Northgate, SA, 5085). Probably best to package all the stuff together, post it to me (or someone in SA) and we can dispense the stuff at a cruise or something. I am happy for it all to be sent to me and I can distribute.

Everyone post EXACTLY what they want below so Mr. funkymonkey can put together an order. Thanks mate :)

needs 4 AAA batteries, which don't come with the package (bummer I forgot all about batteries when buyin them).

recommended 800mAh ones. I can get em at $1.65 each if I get a quantity of 25 or more. (so if 7 of you get 4 batteries each it works out). Seeing as the guys in the melb group buy will want some as well that's 5 sets already covered. So if 2 more of you get 4 each then it'll be 1.65 per battery. They are fully rechargable too (which is what the mains n car chargers do they plug into the CB and charge the batteries while they sit in the CB.

Only downside is you can't charge n use the CB at the same time.

oh and i *think* postage is about 5 bucks thru parcel post. It would be easier to ship the entire batch down to one person and you guys all pick em up.

Sort that amongst yourselves n let me know.

sorry guys I like all the goodies :)

so I have to update my order again

1x cb

1x main charger

4x bateries

1x pouch

for me please.

funkymonkey, is it ok to COD to one of us? We'll pay for the service.

how long will this order take?

Nightcrawler, do you mind receiving the COD? I will direct debit your account the money prior to the COD thingy if you dont mind.

Thanks guys

Over :headspin:

nah Dan, I would think that funkymonkey has to pay for the goods to the wholesaler upfront, so I'm sure he want the money DD to him direct. He seems like a trustworthy bloke!

When do you want the money by funkymonkey?

actually no, I have a $2000 credit with em :) but yeah I'd prefer the money upfront. not really too concerned with that coz I can ebay em off if no one claims em :/ as for COD, sure no probs, COD is great... free insurance on postage ;) as long as you cover COD charges.

I'll get you guys to finalise your purchases on thursday, coz I'm tryin to sort out the VIC one right now since we all need our CB's before Saturdays cruise, if that's cool with you guys.

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
