It means it was, from factory, a Non Turbo car.

Now that means the person you bought it from, who told you it was an "EX-Turbo" had gone and turbo'ed a non turbo car, then removed it all and sold it as stock non turbo again.

This isn't as bad as a Turbo car that had been neutered of its turbo and running low compression.

You do not have a 25GT-V but you do have a 25GT. Still, that's good news for you. thumbsup.gif

More likely it means the seller didn't know what they were talking about. Probably thought that all Skylines are turbocharged so this one must have been deturboed.

That's what I'm thinking too. But then again, some the habibs and morons out there would be stupid enough to go to the trouble of turboing an NA and unturboing it.. lol..

I'm thinking the same as you though Hanaldo. It's probably just a factory non turbo stock as a rock. They hype it up to people who know nothing about cars by slipping that magical word in. 'turbo'

Very nice, & welcome !

Love the Nismo front bar - looks very very nice with the wheels, in blue.

If you get sick of the wheels one day down the track simply powdercoat them white, would look even better IMO & is pretty cheap to do.

R34 Nismo-kit side skirts arnt expensive, if you can find them, & would finish off the 'looks' very nicely.

    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, much easier to work with it now it's free!
    • I _think_ that one has a christmas tree or some other retainer spike into a hole in that panel under it. Come in under it with thin scredrivers and just pry it gently up. If you rip the ears off the retainer pin....so what? Just stick it back down after with a bit of race tape and carry on with life.
