HEy guys,

As some of you know I am getting an R32 gts-t later in the year, most likely an import from Japan. And I have read alot about what mods you guys have done to get certain RWKW {rear wheel killowatt figures} figures. But I am just trying to figure out something. They say the stock R32 GT-R with 206KW does the 1/4 in 12.9..there abouts. Now i don't know what 206 is at the rear but when I hear that someone who has done mods to there GTS-t to achieve 200+ rwkw figures, but only 13's 1/4 figures.

Does this all come down to the fact that the GT-R is 4wd?

I wouldn't have thought that a car with 200+rwkw's wouldn't struggle to get close, but should actually beat the GT-R. Am I just stupid?

Also, do you think it would be difficult to find a R32 gts-t in Japan that has had a RB25 conversion already done to it? Or whould I be better to search for a car with mods like apex FC, turbo timer, larger intercooler, clutch , etc...

Thanks folks.

:ghost:

Unless you are getting the car as a 15yo import then it has to be completely stock to get in under the new laws.

I think you still can't get r32s imported under sevs though. Haven't checked for a few months though.

The GTR gets all of its power to the ground which gives it very nice 1/4 mile times. Also the GTR would have more power than the 206kw stated. I would speculate around 230kw stock.

Yes I forgot that the Japanese often had more power than was shown.

And to answer BHDave, Yes I will be looking at getting one under the 15 year deal which as I understand, they just need to have an engineer's approval after the minor compliances are done.

Thanks again
