Kyosho Mad Force "RCX Edition" Monster Truck. This is a limited model that Kyosho released to celebrate the launch of the RCX Expo in the United States. This model was only released in limited numbers and is no longer available for purchase new.

I bought this truck BRAND NEW for $680 from Tower Hobbies only 6 weeks ago, this did not include even the servos or paint for the body (TOWER HOBBIES - RCX ). As this is the 3rd Monster Truck I have owned in a row, I now would like a change to a 1/8 Buggy. I am looking to get a Mugen MBX5, Kyosho Kanai II or OFNA Hyper7.

The RCX is an upgraded version of the ever popular MadForce. It comes with many additions to make it a super tough, super fast truck.

Here is a list of the editions added by Kyosho to the RCX:

One of the most important upgrades to this Truck would have to be the addition of the ever popular and super reliable O.S. Max .21RG (P)-X rear exhaust (shown below), with pull start, air filter and slide valve carburetor. This motor has only had 4 litres INCLUDING BREAK IN run through it. It really has only been tuned for more power in the last two or three tanks.

PLEASE NOTE: This auction is for everything you see in the above photos. There is NO radio gear (tranmitter and receiver) included. You will need Radio Gear to operate this truck. Servo's, however, ARE included. This is ideal for some one looking to upgrade their current ride, but retain there own radio gear.

RADIO AND RECEIVER CAN BE ORGANISED: I have a virtualy brand new Airtronics MX3 FM 3 Channel controller and receiver and would be willing to sell these with the Truck for an additional $100 on top of the final price.

      Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.

      List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?

      @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand

      You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
