when i start my rb25 the idle will drop down to about 400 then raise back up to normal idle, but today it just stalled and was almost stalling after starting.. also when i just lightly tap my accelerator it will bog down a little and run rough for a second, any ideas? bad air filter or fuel filter?

i have the same problem aswell, every time it gets cold or left for hours and go to start it it will sit low at around 300rpm and then raise up or even stall most times and now is worse as every time i start the car when cold it stalls unless i give ii a lil rev..its like blocking up for a couple of seconds and clears up.

afm cleaned, new filter,plugs.....havent done the fuel filter as yet but the aac valve was cleaned a few month back...cant work it out :/

There is a screw on the aac valve to adjust the idle - pretty sure its in that thread i put in the link above..

Resetting the ecu may help.. IIRC - take negative terminal off... pump the brakes for a bit to drain any charge still in the system.. connect negative back again (your clock etc should have reset if you did it right) There is a quicker way of shorting the ecu in the fuse panel under the steering wheel (never tried it)

Does this only happen when cold?

Do u have stock ECU?

One of my cars does that and its because i have a power FC and it hasnt been tuned for a cold start, also needed new wax pellet.

Also as previously suggested, definately check / clean AFM and AAC, plugs, coil packs.
