Hey guys,

Thinking of selling my RB25 i have built to get myself some cash, originally i got this motor out of an R33 in pretty good condition, but to get it up to really good condition i had the head reco'd at the cost of around $600 which included new inlet valve guides and stem seals, the exhaust guides had already been done, while the head was apart i also cleaned up the unnecessary lumps in the exhaust ports.

It all went back together with the following parts:

Performance Springs valve springs and retainers - $300

Camtech 272 Duration, 9mm lift cams - $1200

Tomei adjustable Cam Gears - $300 (not 100% sure i want to sell the cam gears yet)

ARP Head Studs - $150

New Durapro VRS Gasket Kit - $400

ACL Race Series big end bearings - $70

Also to go with this engine is a non-genuine Greddy Front facing plenum which i have gasket matched the runners to the head myself (needed doing really badly), and i have a billet fuel rail kit for this which allows the use of top feed injectors.

Together these cost around $500 and for the right price i can include some GTR Injectors aswell.

It also has a second hand Stainless highmount turbo manifold and Turbosmart 38mm Gate if needed, valued at around $500 for both items together.

As the engine sits it is currently a bare long motor, ready to have manifolds and accessories bolted on and put into use.

All up including the original price of the engine this setup owes me around $4500 but im willing to sell it for alot less than that so i thought i would see what kind of interest i get.

I can also throw in another r33 turbo bottom end with 1 melted piston for parts...

Also i should add that these cams are to suit an RB20 which eliminates the VCT, so this setup will drop straight into an R32 GTS-T using existing coilpacks, crank angle sensor, etc..

Or alternatively it would still drop into an R33 with minimal alterations.

I will try and upload some photos of the engine at some point.

Reason for sale is i sold the 32 GTS-T i built this for.

For any questions contact me on here or SMS me on 0408 117 171.

Cheers, Daniel.

Here are some pics of the build :)

The comparison photo of the 2 cam lobes is one of the 272's and a stock rb25 cam.

Also the turbo pictured has been sold and is not included.

May consider swaps and also may consider seperating the head from the block if someone is looking to build a forged motor and needs a head to put on it, this would also be a good head for a 25/30 build having no vct and bigger cams to help with flow for the extra capacity in the bottom end :)

with the cams, springs, gears and covers, it owes me around $2500 but would take $1800, the cams alone were $1200, would be happy to keep the cam gears and cam covers and sell it for $1500

    • Pads for R32 GTS-t, R32 GT-R non V-Spec (Sumitomo), R33 GTS-t and R34 GT-t are all interchangeable. R34 GT uses a 2x piston caliper, hence it didn't fit.
    • Checked with amayama and nope, the full S2 manual set is not available anymore. Unsurprising, but still disappointing as the ? on availability gave a glimmer of hope.
    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
