mckillerbee
I have R33 1996 GTST series 2 my passenger side central locking and power window both malfunction. I tried the switches from the driver side and it doesn't do anythings at all. I checked the fuse for power window at the front it is intact. What can cause this issue? is there a fuse for just the left hand side door? By the way the right hand side working fine both window and lock working properly. RB25DETC33
Usually it has to do with the power window amplifier in the door that fails to operate. If its broken then youur cannot operate the window. if you have mates with a 33 see if you can borrow one to test. mckillerbee
Does the passenger side has a power window amplifier as well ? RB25DETC33
Not 100% sure on 33s, but im going off my c33 laurel, most jap stuff is the same. Does the window go up with the passenger side control? Generally central locking is controlled by the master unit. But in saying that, if the master unit is broken, you should still be able to power the window with the passenger side. Is the window up at the moment or stuck in the down position? Speedchef
Hi man, ive got a R34 GTT so might be a little different but i had to replace the passangers side speaker the door card is pretty easy to get off just a few screws and then lift it up, the window power unit is just a little box attached to the door card one of the wires might have come loose or even got water damaged, maybe pull the door card and have a look. goodluck Brent Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/400480-need-help-my-passenger-side-central-lock-and-power-window-fail-to-work/#findComment-6362064 Share on other sites

RB25DETC33
The window stayed up not moving, no clicking sound and the central lock just dead and no clicking sound at all Sounds like a dead/water damaged amp or lose plug/wire.
