thought it might be worth a mention, got some walkie talkies from supercheap the other day that have a 7km range, if anyone else is keen to get a set they are on sale at autobarn for $89.

only round the house, they seem pretty good.

pretty keen to test them on the road.

can probably leave one at jarrads house and see if there is any problem transmitting to there from mine haha..

I do want! No gate tho, too lazy to unplumb it lol

So ill have to call you or get details for the Sunday man!

Picked up the car this arvo and asked the guy if you can enter on the day and he said yeah but costs an extra $10 and if no spots are available then no luck.

If you want you can pre enter and sort all the paperwork out on the day

If you want to know more ring John Collins on 49 611 600 as he knows all

Just incase no one knows yet. Me ant and a few others are going to putty road north side on Sunday to scout for our next big cruise. Let us know in here or by pm if your keen to make sure you get the details (hasn't been arranged yet)

PICS OF HARNESS's!!!!!!

PICS OF HARNESS's!!!!!!

FYP

I have 2 in the car now ill snap some pics at lunch, i will have to feed them into the seat as i have the shoulders straps sitting on the back seat and the waist ones hidden under the seat, the mounting points are hte bolt for the rear seat buckle, replace the bolt with an eye bolt, Lower seat belt bolt on each side for 1 waist strap and the other can clip onto the seat rail after u unscrew a bolt to give it room then s crew it back in and its locked in.

Pics as requested.

On the pic with the seat out, the 2 plugs i have circled you can pull up (just a plastic cap) and screw eye bolts in, on the passenger side i had to use this as the seat belt buckle bolt was in so tight my woman hands (i work in IT) could not get it out, on the drivers side i replaced the buckle bolt with an eye bolt. Replaceing the bolt would be the preferd way to do it as when you sit on the back seat you get an eye bolt in the ass cheak.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
