Is yours a copy of the stock one or does it extend further back? (mines not stock - it goes back to the fire wall)

On the gtt i believe you need a gtr bar & lip to fit the diffuser...which then requires a gtr bonnet and front fenders - not really worth the effort.

I'm sure i've seen a gtt bolt on diffuser somewhere though..

Nah mine only extendeds to before the sump, it's pretty average...

Haha yeah think I'll do that :)

Thanks ant! Will do, not sure what I'm doing this weekendbut will let you know.

Could also add beer and music :D

Yeah I've seen a diffuser on a gtt altia body kit (my front bar) looked awesome!! But isn't worth the 1500 the guy said he paid for it haha.

Lol - just asking as I may buy another (sacrificial) one in the future. It's a little annoying when you drop something in the engine bay and it don't fall out the bottom.

Ha yep, makes it easy for servicing too, easy to clean the oil of the engine after it pouring out when removing the filter to ha

I think I still have a 10mm socket in my engine bay somewhere

Dropped it while working and didn't fall out the bottom, do you think I could find it? No chance

Oh Martin, I dropped a 10mm in my engine bay when I fixed my valve clearances. Took me so long to find but I refused not to find it cause every piece of that set is like a baby to me haha. Found it sitting under my turbo heat shield in-between the block and the turbo intake pipe. Took sooooo long to knock it out of there and into my face haha.

Hmm a happy worker isn't always an efficient worker huh? :)

If it is pouring rain, my driving ability will be limited... Picked the car up on low boost and E30 fuel and still getting wheelspin through to 3rd in the dry, I'm not looking forward to rain :P

Very nice result

Maybe have to start running semis or some KU36's on the rear

i normally do run them but had crap tyres on for the dyno and for the diff to bed it, but will get some RSR's or something very soon as its pretty useless.... Good for the lolz! :D BUT it also restricts me from being silly on the road and with the car being so nice to cruise in i am happy as it is..... Will show you guys :)

^Sounds good mate.

Weather looks like it could be improving, either way from the responses above, i think it will go ahead as planed rain or not (check this thread on sunday morning for updates, if theres nothing, than it will be on!), if the rain worries you, just bring another car and come have a chat, some food and beer!

Also, i will be bringing my DSLR along to grab some pics of the day, if you want some pics of your car just let me know on the day etc.. i have been playing around with photo editing abit lately so could use some extra images to play with :).

Cheers,and see you there.

Its times like these I wish I had my full licence so I could take the S15 out so you could take some cool pics.

A bit disapointed that the previous owner hasn't taken care of the paint better though. Notably There is a scratch on the front right quarter, stone chips on bonnet, scrapes on the front bumper (from not angling on driveways Im guessing), and scratches on the rear bumper from backing past a nail out of a fence (which gauged into the side of the rear bumper). It also has tree sap damage on bonnet and bootlid.

Polished it and waxed it for 4 hours the other day...still lots of grime on the paint thats yet to come off. Also unbolted the plastic front wheel arch linings, and got a buildup of mud/grime out from between the front quarter and the sill. Luckily there was no rust, but got all the stuff out then hosed it out to remove all the crap.

I can get you a driver for the S15 if you want.... He is actually an S15 driver anyway but some fool P plater slammed into him so its in the panel shop for another 6 weeks!

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
