Hey guys,

My splash gaurd has been ripped to pieces from the passenger's side wheel and is looking shabby at best. My question is, can you go without it? What does it actually do? Probably a stupid question I know, but should I just replace it or throw it to the side?

Cheers

You can live without splash guards but obviously there will be no guard against splashes lol. The inside of your front bar may get really dirty in the rain but no real dramas. Sometimes guards are connected to eachother. So if you take the front part of it out, you may need to secure the top part (above the wheel) some how, assuming yours is two pieces of course. I took out my splash guards on my mr2 as the wouldnt secure to my aftermarket front bar anywhere. Had no probs within the 3 years of driving it.
