Long Story short ..

the GTR has been in the garage in storage and the battery finnaly died i need to know where i can replace it as i have found most battery shops don't have it ?

It's for a R34 GTR the one in the boot ... oh this is gonna be a pain in the ass to change lol

Location , NSW Canley heights area.

Pref somewhere close.

Head to auto bar or repco, and get yourself a $30 trickle charger, Great investment

Or take it to a mechanic and tell them to charge it, pain in the ass though becasue they wont leave it on over night.

Cant beat first option

^ been jumped 2-3 times already the car is a complete garage whore lol ,

i refuse to park my car in the public around this asian area as they all cannot drive or park for crap.

and yes battery completly dead as it doesn't even turn on from alarm anymore no cranking noise or anything from low battery.

Yea ok fair enough.

Just remove the rear strut brace, take the battery out, take it to supercheap and ask for one the same (size and specs etc)

Sh!t of a job, I had to do it shortly after getting my car as it was just out of storage.

There's about 10 in a 5km radius there.

I've only ever seen 2 34 GTRs in my lifetime there. had a white one that I couldn't stop eyeballing and a bayside blue that I will never forget with plates GDZLLA.

Lol so that's what you said on the phone today Long. Thought you said your car died, didn't hear the battery part. I was like WTF!?

the car is a complete garage whore lol

That's why you won't see it around lol

I came across a place at Smeaton Grange the other day that have a puck load of different batteries, I mention them cause they import Lithium batteries, more CCA and less then 1/3 the weight of a L/A battery and they take 5-10 mins to fully charge from dead depending on size, I am looking at one of these when I finally finish my 34

try battery world for it, and they have some thing called a "float charger" we use it on the bikes and it floats the charge up and down to simulate actual use while they are parked up through the winter

Nice car, I almost bought it.

Nice car, I almost bought it.

confirmation of cc on battery anyone ?

I have CCA 380 on my Odyssey PC925.

As above, if you will be leaving your car for days at a time then a trickle charger is recommended.

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
