As you need to pull most of the dash out to fit it I would get it inspected and cleaned at least by a reputable radiator joint.

Or buy new.

My good condition second hand one lasted 12 months before dropping coolant in the passenger foot well.

Remember that even though it may look good on the outside the insides may be on their way out, the second hand ones are getting pretty old now.

The extra money spent on new will be worth it if you need to replace a second hand one in 12 months.
